not good for people with tent and bicycle.
bad place for people with tent and bicycle. If you put your food into the dedicated refrigerator,, they´ll throw it away. These people definitively prefer guests with big camping cars.. Better look for another place. …

Extra payment for bath and internet pulls down the experience
Ribe Camping is a great nice and very clean campsite.
The price is in the top, but despite that you will have to pay DKK 8 extra for 4 minutes. Totally annoying.
If you want internet, it costs DKK 30 / day. Attraction and in clear contrast to that that you bet on good experiences. Paying extra for the internet is a thing of the past.

Comfortable
Large campsite, accessible by motorhome, tent or even small cottage rental.
The spaces are very good, well protected by hedges. Sanitary, kitchens, canteens etc are very clean.
Provide a surplus for showers and washes (but really democratic!)

“Hotel cabins” you don’t mind spending your money on
One can see from previous reviews that owner Anne has an unfortunate tendency to not solve her “customer problems”, so she will 100% say that this is our own fault. Problems are created and solved together.
We booked a “hotel cabin” for 1 night, but despite the name it is far from hotel standard. We spontaneously booked the cabin the evening before, the reception had not open and we would book before the last was gone in the high season. We are a parent couple with a 6 months baby (cottage for 2 people with double bed is quite fine for us and usually be more than welcome on other the squares and hotels we visit). You can rent baby equipment and cribs, but we do not have that need. Nice enough cottage OK stay.
At departure we had obviously unfortunately forgotten some garbage (we regretted it) and some swimsuits + swimsuit. Anne tried several times to get in touch with us and gave us a huge round of adult gossip on the phone about how we could allow ourselves to bring a baby and not remove that waste. I had tried that she could write in email what the problem was when we were on holiday, but she WILL take it on the phone. She wondered, after reviewing our history with who checked in and out, who the third person was and “will be able to trust her guests.” We were extremely amazed. I suggested that she send an invoice because I really didn't have time to talk to her on the phone anymore. She'll send us an extra charge. She did so in the middle of the summer vacation with a due date 2 days later at 100kr which was worth her time.
The feedback I unfortunately did not get to give them while this ballet was on is, we have given 2650 kr for one night. This is almost dangleterre prices on a campsite in the middle of nowhere Denmark the small cabin is located off a busy road and right behind a large pool where children scream all day long. They have patched the walls to with tasteless postcard-like picture and writing. The cabin is OK but it is not like Hvidbjerg's beautiful villas for the price.
You can rent a hotel cabin with or without a jacuzzi, which of course costs more. But when you book then they charge you 650kr extra if you want to make use of the jacuzzi (huge wtf). They charged us 650kr for using their jacuzzi and upon arrival they said it would take 6 hours for it to get warm but who does not want to waste his precious time on such details. But this review is still to save you YOUR time and to get a sense of justice.
