Bad experience, poor quality and overpriced.

We stayed here for one night on the recommendation of our driver. Huge disappointment.... it's by the lake, our room a classic triple, was a good size and clean but there everything is downhill... we were charged 40K AMD for the room even though it is available through booking.com at 20k AMD. !!! The owner says the booking.com prices were not updated. !!!
The room was very dated, tatty shower curtain, worst almost flat and lumpy pillow I've ever experienced. Thin curtains that let in lots of light, no breakfast included. The room has cars parked right outside... the boiler water temperature was set to 25 degree's..... the restaurant although by the sea was very busy and geared up for the tourists. Food was at best average, service poor and prices were far too high for what is served. In summary a bad experience which we have not encountered elsewhere on our travels in Armenia.
