A hidden gem in the Montafon Valley - ChaletM!
I never heard of this little village called Vandans, located in the Montafon valley (province of Vorarlberg, Austria) but some raving reviews about ChaletM, located in that village, made me curious and so I planned our visit on our way to Italy!
When I visited ChaletM I knew I made the right decision! Upon arrival I was warmly welcomed by the Patron who offered assistance with our luggage, explained the services offered and provided visitors information ….
The room was specious, clean and comfortable! The bed linen was of hight quality and so were the towels! The bathroom, newly renovated, was super clean but not sterile! The balcony equipped with two chairs and a table offered a great view of the Alps!
The breakfast was served from 7:00 till 10:00 and the offering was in abundance! From cereals to fruits, cold cuts, smoked salmon (prepared in-house) to a variety of breads and homemade marmalades…they also offered five a-la-carte dishes freshly prepared! And all this…included in the room rate!
But most of all everybody who was associated with ChaletM was very friendly and helpful! Always, ready to assist and with recommendations which place to visit!
A journey consists of three parts! First comes the anticipation part, then the arrival phase and last the stay phase! For me this was a perfect stay because all three phases harmonized!

Fantastisch!
We verbleven hier voor een korte ski vakantie en het was in 1 woord: Fantastisch!
De kamers zijn helemaal nieuw en van hoge kwaliteit. Fantastische bedden en een heerlijke douche. Het uitzicht over op de bergen is ook erg mooi. De piste (Golm) is 2 minuten rijden en het ontbijt is werkelijk super goed! Heerlijk fruit, lekkere broodjes keuze uit meerdere eiergerechten en de dame die het ontbijt runt zorgt ervoor dat je niets te kort komt.
Franz de eigenaar is een hele aardige man, die werkelijk om de gasten geeft! Kortom: echt een aanrader! Wij gaan zeker nog een keer terug.
