Very Freindly Hotel and also a Great Restaurant
My room was beautiful and large with a sofa chairs and comfortable bed. The bathroom had a lovely shower enclosure, and super hot water. The room was personalised nicely and the whole place had a great feeling. All the ladies were very friendly and the restaurant served excellent food at a sensible price with really nice little extras and trimmings. Breakfast superb!

As more expected!
Friendly staff- quite average breakfast – impossible space in the attic rooms for example 412 caution!! At the head end of the beds, crossbeams at about 1 m height – you can almost be sure to bump your head hard. Watch out !!! Price not justified - same level as Grand Hotel Westin in Berlin last week

Disappointing stay
Small room furnished with antique furniture. Toilet dirty. Unfortunately, after our arrival at 5pm, no one could be found at the reception to complain. Even the next morning nobody there, just the two friendly staff for breakfast.
The choice for breakfast rather poor.

Great for a short vacation
For the second time, we stayed at the Hotel Krone for four nights as part of an extended ski weekend and we really enjoyed it again. Last year we had a room with somewhat worn furniture, hence only four stars. This year we had a much nicer room and it was also very quiet on the 3rd floor. The breakfast was also absolutely fine, good coffee, rolls, bread and croissants, cheese, sausage, salmon, breakfast eggs, muesli... we really didn't need anything more.
In the evening we ate three times in the hotel's own restaurant, and that deserves its own review. The ski container and hotel's own parking lot were also great.
One more sentence about the ski area: Because the snow on the Hochjoch wasn't that great, we drove the 15 km to Gargellen. It was absolutely worth it, powder snow instead of slush.
And I would also like to explicitly mention the friendliness of all the hotel staff. Conclusion: we'll be back next year!

Very bad
Ate once and never again
We played it safe because everything was full.
It took really long before we finally got our food.
We then saw several plates being sent back to the kitchen. Since we were hungry, we only ordered 2 simple pizzas, which were good.
But often completely ignored, they don't even look at you if you want to order something to drink, for example.
Asked several times to various employees if they wanted to pay, no response either. So when I got up and got ready to leave, they came with; snaps from the house blah blah . NO we want to pay. After waiting again for a while, they finally arrived.
The pizzeria around the corner is part of it and the man standing outside to lure customers in is also part of it.
1 x never again!!
