Wonderful Stay!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nirvana, so much so that we are back home less than a week and we’ve already booked our next stay!
Carolyn & Levi and staff were amazing— from communicating with us as we drove in, to meeting us to park the car and bring our luggage, to the Belizean breakfast each morning.
Even though someone was always available, we actually didn’t need anything because everything was obviously thought through and thoroughly prepared!! You have everything you need and everything is clearly marked and organized. There is a choice between using the ceiling fans or air conditioning (or both, if you choose) and we were always comfortable regardless of the outdoor temperature.
We stayed in the Namaste room which was super spacious, extremely comfortable, clean and beautiful inside and out. There was no way NOT to relax in the hammocks on the veranda and allow the ocean sounds and breeze to lull you …
Nirvana is perfectly situated on the beach in Placencia Village which is extremely walkable via the sidewalk- and we also enjoyed walking along the beach to the Point where the bay area water was always calm and restful.
Highly recommend and will be there again soon!

Peace and a perfect spot ️
We had a great stay at a Belizian Nirvana! The rooms were very clean and it is located within walking distance to everything in placencia village including food and tours. Breakfast is also included and if you can’t make it due to a tour you can arrange for it to be brought to your room the day before. Barbara the owner is super friendly, responsive, and provided great resources and recommendations. For parking make sure to WhatsApp message her and someone will come right away. There are bikes and kayaks available as well. The beach is right at your doorstep and the placencia village beach is a super short walking distance away so you’re guaranteed to have a great trip.

Belizean Nirvana- Peace and Relaxation
Barbara, Evan, Levi and the girls are all so amazing. The location is absolutely perfect, although a bit windy right off the ocean, but the view is spectacular! They do a traditional Belizean breakfast in the morning and offer a gym, kayaks, bicycles, and laundry, if needed. The room we stayed in, Oleander, is so peaceful and well maintained. It is absolutely amazing and well worth the stay. Everything was clean and just a text away if you needed replacements. Its very quiet and located next to the "cozy cottage ". It is within walking distance to many of the Placencia stores and markets. The sidewalk offers you a great view of many local souvenir shops. We always felt very safe and the locals are pleasant and kind. Belize is amazing!

The place was perfect in every way. My aunt and I felt like we were at home thanks to the personal touches. We were given complimentary rum punch, breakfast on the rooftop each morning, a clean, beautiful room with a veranda. They paid for us to swim at a beach resort since we couldn’t swim in the sea. The staff warm and inviting. Great places to eat were within walking distance. This gem was a 10.!

The best place ever!!
The rooms were beautiful, comfortable and large. The Halls were very accommodating. Anything that was needed was at your fingertips...beach towels, clothespins, and anything that was needed in the kitchen...coffee maker with coffee, tea bags, creamer, other kitchen gadgets. Everything was right there. Breakfast was good. They had a special filter on the kitchen sink so you didn't have to worry about bottled water. They picked us up at the local airport and even delivered us to the airport for a returning flight that was changed to an hour earlier. When we realized the change in the flight time home, we ran to the office and they got us to the airport immediately. The upstairs deck and chairs on the beach were great. Having a shower right outside your room to wash the sand off was also appreciated. It was a great place and they were wonderful and extremely helpful.
