Location A great hotel to have a nice rest before long walks around the city. Hotel «Hotel Alexander» is located in Sofia. This hotel is located in 6 km from the city center. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Slivnitsa, Central Sofia Market Hall and Banya Basha Mosque.At the hotel You can stop by the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi on the territory will help you to stay on-line. If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone for free. To book an excursion, consult the tour assistance desk of the hotel. Accessible for guests with disabilities: the elevator helps them to go to the highest floors. There are other services available for the guests of the hotel. Clean and cheap
The hotel has its own parking though you don’t need a car with the subway so close.
Nice restaurant , low prices , decent meals. The restaurant has a garden. Obviously it has been renovated recently. New carpets , flat screen tv’s , free WiFi . Staff was kind and helpful. Good value for money.

Not a tourist hotel
It takes 20 minutes to get to the centre of Sofia by Metro and approximately 45 minutes to get to the airport. The airport is one end of the metro system and Slivnitsa is the opposite end of the metro system so the person who says it only takes 10 minutes to cover the distance is seriously deluded.
The hotel is quite threadbare and cheap looking. Carpets are threadbare in parts. The carpet in our room was quite stained. The carpets are nylon and we noticed sparks when the lights were off!! The curtains are very thin and did not block out any light.
The breakfast choice is limited and poor. Only one choice of cereal and only sliced white bread. There isn't any tea or coffee making facilities in the room and no where to get one from after 6 pm. The view from our room was of derelict buildings.

Business Hotel
Free wi fi and parking. Rooms are big and clean , mini bar available . Friendly staff always smiling.
