Relaxing Stay with Incredible Ocean Views
Really enjoyed my stay at Sechelt Inn. The location is incredible, the property is literally right on the water, and waking up to the ocean views and peaceful atmosphere was one of the highlights of the trip. It’s also within walking distance to restaurants, shops, and everything in Sechelt, which made the stay very convenient.
The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. You can tell the team genuinely cares about maintaining the property and creating a welcoming environment for guests.
What stood out most was the hospitality. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my visit.
Overall, it was a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting on the Sunshine Coast. I would definitely stay again and would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Sechelt.

No elevator so challenging getting luggage up the stairs. Minimal furniture. Useless drawer of cutlery (only 2 mismatched forks)) and lack of glasses and kitchen equipment. Very hard beds. Tight bathroom. Way over priced.

Outside was deceiving and we thought we accidentally went to wrong place but when we got inside it is fully renovated and very clean and new. I usually bring my own hairdryer but they had a regular full due in the room. Oversized towels. Netflix on smart TV. Easy to use thermostat. Friendly staff. The rooms all face the same way and no ocean view but that was ok because the ocean is pretty well right out the door. Very nice stay!

Nice location on the waterfront
My wife and I stayed here 4 nights while on vacation. Front office staff were very nice & friendly. Sechelt tourist office is a block away.
This place used to be the Driftwood Inn and got completely renovated (including the adjacent Fred’s restaurant) 1.5 yrs ago. They have 28 rooms, 5 waterfront, on 2 floors. Sechelt is a nice town in a beautiful area. Some of the rooms on the 2nd floor have a view of the water, but we stayed on the 1st floor with no view. Nice waterfront walking paved path steps away with some trees & benches. The price seemed reasonable, the room OK, not great, TV channels mediocre at best. Lots of very nice wooded parks with walking paths nearby.
The nearby Lighthouse Pub & Grasshopper Pubs are very nice. We took a very nice 90 minute boat tour, Pender Harbour Tours, a short drive from Sechelt.

Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.
Room was clean and big enough for our needs. Bed was comfortable.
Ideal location. Close to sea wall, shopping and restaurants. Parking easy
