Absolutely AMAZING
The mainly 5* reviews for this hotel are entirely justified. Our first visit to this hotel (and definitely not our last).
From our first day to the last day today, not often feel this gutted to be leaving, this hotel is magical. There would certainly be too many individual staff to call out and name, however - Marina at breakfast time, she has zest for life, such a welcoming start to everyday, and Yiannis in the evening with our lovely chats were both absolute superstars, that said from minute one, being welcomed by concierge and reception, to housekeeping, the pool attendants, waiting staff, the chefs, dining and bar staff, all amazing, super friendly and helpful.
Restaurant manager Alla (love the daily glasses) was super welcoming and the pool attendant Antreas was always there to help with our beds each morning.
I don't think we've seen a single staff member, who all work tirelessly hard and in extreme heat, without a smile on their faces. BRAVO. The way different staff quickly remember your name, favourite cocktail, wine preferences. They are all to be commended.
The breakfast buffet is literally a paradise in choice and flavour, it's the little things you appreciate (honey from the comb, individual condiment jars, cured salmon, pastry heaven, and fresh eggs cooked however you like), fruit, breads, and more, and make sure you indulge with the Champagne (pic) and juice bar.
The evening's themed buffets were delightful. Choice, more choice and quality (pics). The little appetiser dishes each night were superb. If like me you have a sweet tooth, the dozen or more individual deserts varying each night were heavenly (pic). Oh and a nightly cheese board too (though some proper chutney please ).
We also ate at O'Shin and Bacco. O'Shin is highly recommended and a fantastic dining experience. The O'Shin Elysium Snapper was superb (pic), service was great and a great setting.
Our room was lovely, 2206, we would say the seaview upgrade is more than worth it, you get a pool view also, see the sunset and can also peruse the evening's entertainment on the terrace each night from the balcony if you wish, the rooms were cleaned spotlessly daily. The nightly turn down service a nice touch, and the air-con is top notch (needed in August). And the in room mini bar was pricey (expected) but very well stocked.
If you're a sunbed panicker, no need to worry. Rarely a sight of any towels going down before 9, you appreciate the 5* clientele vibes and far more loungers than guestsbot feels. The QR code snack bar (food and drinks) to lounger service is amazing. Daily pool towels provided, a lovely little on-site shop selling essentials (pic), as well as the spa and other boutiques. Not forgetting the special aroma of Elysium that hits you every time you walk through the front door. Simply divine.
All in all, the best holiday location we've been to, you will NOT be disappointed. We can't wait to return. Thank-you Elysium for an amazing 2 weeks of relaxation.

Great hotel - amazing experience
Amazing, family friendly resort, with a reserved decorum that meant we avoided the typical “rush” to the pool to reserve sunbeds; in fact, this was the very opposite! The food was amazing, the staff were friendly and attentive. The evening buffet themes were varied and all first class. Gym and other hotel facilities were up to scratch too. Nearby, the Tomb of Kings and Roman villa ruins in Paphos are interesting excursions that help provide some variety and history into the experience.
The only minor issue I had was either drinking water; despite a free 500ml bottle overnight, there were no drinking water stations dotted around for the daytime which meant a bottle of water poolside was an expensive luxury. Whilst I had no desire to order-in food, a free supply of water during the daytime would have really been appreciated.
Other than that, no faults whatsoever and we hope to return soon!

An unforgettable 5-star stay – and a special thank you to Marina!
We had an absolutely amazing stay at Elysium Hotel from start to finish. Everything about this resort truly deserves five stars.
The rooms, as well as the entire resort, were absolutely spotless and beautifully maintained. One thing that is especially important to me when staying at a hotel is the quality of the bed – and the beds at Elysium were heavenly! Incredibly soft and comfortable, with a wonderful duvet and amazing pillows. I honestly slept so well every single night.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with exceptional warmth and service. The staff made us feel genuinely cared for, and the level of service throughout our stay was exactly what you would expect from a true 5-star resort.
I also have to give Elysium a huge amount of praise for how exceptionally well they catered for gluten-free guests. This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have had when it comes to gluten-free food. At breakfast, they could make fresh gluten-free pancakes for me, and at dinner they were happy to prepare gluten-free pasta whenever I asked. They also had gluten-free pizza, and it genuinely felt like almost anything you could wish for could be made gluten-free simply by asking. It made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable, without ever feeling like I was missing out.
Everything was beautiful – the architecture, the grounds, the restaurants, the entertainment and the pool areas. We loved the resort so much that we didn’t leave once during our entire week-long stay! There was simply no reason to.
But even with everything being so wonderful, the absolute highlight of our stay was Marina at the Epicurean buffet restaurant. ❤️
Marina is truly something special. Her kindness, warmth and exceptional service made such a difference to both me and my husband. Every evening, we genuinely looked forward to going to Epicurean because we knew we would get to see Marina again. She always greeted us with such warmth and made us feel incredibly welcome and cared for.
It is rare to meet someone who leaves such a lasting impression simply by being so genuinely kind. You would have to look very far to find a warmer and more wonderful person than Marina. She is an incredible asset to Elysium and deserves all the recognition in the world.

Perfect honeymoon!
We booked the Elysium for our honeymoon and it was better than we could have ever imagined. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, the staff were so welcoming and the 5 star service started straight away. Checking in was seamless and our refreshing welcome drink went down a treat! We had booked the deluxe sea view room and we were welcomed with flowers, balloons and a bottle of wine to start our celebrations. The bed was huge and plenty of space in the wardrobes, room very spacious for the two of us. The view from the balcony was by far the best in the hotel, every evening we watched the most beautiful sunset. The hotel is absolutely fabulous. Completely spotless and smells luxurious!
We booked a couples spa treatment on our first which was perfect, so relaxing and helped us unwind after our wedding.
We ate at Mediterraneo, Bacci and O’Shin. We didn’t have a favourite as all were just as delicious as each other and offered a completely different experience. All the food we had was faultless, from breakfast to the pool bar to dinner. Every single member of staff was friendly, attentive and polite. It’s really what makes this hotel so special, nothing was too much.
The location of the hotel is perfect, easy access to the town and harbour with shuttle buses provided by the hotel and also far enough it’s peaceful and relaxing.
We will definitely be back and cannot wait to book again for next year. Thank you all for making our honeymoon a dream!

Another perfect stay at Elysium Hotel in Paphos — exceptional service, outstanding food, and heartfelt hospitality!
Our most recent stay at the magnificent Elysium Hotel last weekend was, once again, an absolutely flawless experience. Every visit confirms why this beautiful hotel in Paphos feels like our home away from home.
From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by Mr Jerry, whose kindness and politeness truly set the tone for the entire stay. His genuine hospitality and ever-present smile make every arrival feel special and personal.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight, not only because of the exceptional quality and variety of the food, but also thanks to the wonderful Mrs Marina. She is always so hospitable, positive, and attentive — her warm energy during breakfast service makes the start of the day even more enjoyable. Mrs Retchell also deserves special recognition for her positive vibes and lovely compliments that made our mornings brighter.
Our dining experience at Oshin restaurant was elevated by Mr Andreas and his exceptional service. Professional, attentive, and truly dedicated to guest satisfaction, he ensured that everything was perfect from start to finish.
We would also like to sincerely thank Mrs Victoria for her kindness and her genuine effort to resolve the small issue we had with the mobile app. Her willingness to assist and ensure everything was working smoothly reflects the high standards of care the hotel consistently delivers.
The food throughout the hotel was simply perfect — beautifully prepared and full of flavour — and the level of service from every single employee was exceptional.
