Unexpected Gem!
I booked Louiselund as it was close to a business commitment we had in Haderslev. From the picture I expected a B&B in a street, maybe with limited parking. What I didn’t expect (although I might have discovered this if I’d done more research) was a beautiful stables, complete with a horse breeding centre, a range of working buildings and a beautiful house as the centrepiece.
The welcome from Niels was warm & friendly; the rooms comfortable & well-supplied; the bathrooms roomy & spotlessly clean and the breakfast communal, friendly & tasty!
This was a business trip, but I’ll be bringing my other half for a break here as soon as I can. You should do too. Perfect for business travellers, couples, families with kids. Just a wonderful place whose price is yet another USP.

What a happy and lucky choice to stay at this wonderful place
Driving from Amsterdam to... well a round trip through Scandinavia and Finland this was my first stop. Just purely practical again I picked a place after- I thought I would had enough of the bouncing and bumping ride in my Landrover Defender. Haderslev looked the right place and Louiselund was my choice. What a happy one. I didn’t know it was a place with a hughe stable for horses. Too my surprise horses were walking around ( with a person walking next to it) and jumping and other riding activities were going on. The owners are just wonderful people. The rooms ate very clean and sharing a bathroom opposite my room was never a problem and I never had to wait. The breakfast room is stunning! Situated in another building with a long shared table for all the guests. Breakfast was good.
Now I liked this place so much that ( I am still traveling now) on my way back I try to make sure I can stay there again...the accommodation but besides that the wonderful owners make that I have no doubt about that!

beautiful scenery, delicious breakfast, friendly staff
a group of 6 of us stayed here over a weekend and thoroughly enjoyed it. the grounds are picturesque and the atmosphere was very relaxing. it's a working horse farm and ride center which just adds to the idyllic setting. the owners were very pleasant, made sure we had a tasty breakfast every morning, and checked in frequently to ensure our stay was going well. the rooms are quite nice, and we had access to a full kitchen conveniently located on the same floor as our quarters. overall, it was a wonderful lodging experience. definitely recommend and hope to visit again - soon!

Ikke helt hvad vi havde forventet
Besøgte stedet for en nat i slut august.
Var nok ikke helt det vi havde forventet.
Den store fine hvide bygning havde ikke værelser, man skulle opad en udvendig trappe og gennem et lille køkken og her var værelserne som er bygget over en stald.
Et mindre værelse med skråvæg og eget bad som vi havde bestilt, rent og ok men lille.
Når man kom op ad trappen var der en platform med en slags terrasse, borde og stole og til den ene side en bræddevæg som skulle tage udsynet til en mødding.
Det havde været varmt og tørt i en periode og måske derfor lugtede det meget af hest!
Stedet var en stor gård med mange heste og ridebane og andet og helt sikkert et perfekt sted for heste folk.
Det lå lidt uden for Haderslev i smukt landskab og mulighed for gåture var der, stille og roligt i området så en god søvn.
Morgen mad var en portions anretning i køkkenet som var ok i mængde og kvalitet.
Vi vælger nok et andet sted næste gang på de kanter.

Abbiamo scelto questo b&b per una notte di passaggio, è situato in una zona davvero tranquilla, è una fattoria con dei cavalli e le camere sono al piano superiore; non c'è l'ascensore per chi ha problemi con le scale.
La camera e il bagno erano spaziosi, confortevoli e puliti.
C'era un lucernario dotato di zanzariera, in modo da poterlo tenere aperto anche di notte. E' presente una grande cucina dove è possibile prepararsi dei pasti, la colazione viene servita lì su un ampio tavolo (c'era anche qualche tavolino all'aperto sul terrazzo esterno), concordando l'orario con il proprietario che ti fa trovare il piatto con pane, formaggio, uovo, succo, formaggi, affettati, verdure, caffè. E' possibile parcheggiare gratuitamente nel cortile. Nei dintorni non c'è nulla per cenare, serve l'auto per raggiungere i paesi vicini.
Il proprietario è stato cordiale.
La camera e il bagno erano spaziosi, confortevoli e puliti.
C'era un lucernario dotato di zanzariera, in modo da poterlo tenere aperto anche di notte.
