Just 5 minutes’ walk from Ribe Station, this eco-friendly hostel offers views of the Old Town and Wadden Sea National Park. Guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, free parking and private bathrooms. Danhostel Ribe’s simple rooms have their own toilet and showers.

Very good value for money. Supernice staff. The beds were a bit uncomfortable.

I stayed in part called hotel and I did not like the 2 hour check in window meaning you can arrive between 4-6 pm. This should be noted in property description.

Cash machine and poor customer service
Flabet and unhooded.
We baptized children at Danhostel. Nice food, sweet serving. But their director lacks a sense of customer service. We have they ordered brunch with associated drinks. In addition, we had asked for beer and soda available if the guests wanted it. We are told that there is a refrigerator with beer and soda in the room, which we can take off, for billing afterwards.
There are 25 degrees outside (probably more in the room) and we are 45 people. They only put on 2 water pots (but come with 2 more, on demand). They might fill them up once. Then they (snadely enough) put both spring water and wine on cool too, without informing about this. Since the water cans are empty, source water is drinked instead. And since the wine stands there, you drink of this too. As I cash them and wonder that they have put forward more than agreed, I get to know that it is a service they have provided (a service at MY expense of course). So there are drinks for 660 kr drinks that we had not even ordered.
I even get to know that then we could have said that we didn’t want it. But it's not easy to know that you have to waive everything you don't want. Thought you ordered what you actually wanted and not what you didn't want. They had even confirmed that it would be beer and soda in the refrigerator. Their director was flabet and not super welcoming in his answer.
So I can't recommend this place at all! A man like him should stay out of customer contact. But an easy way to make money, by presenting things we haven't ordered, and then say afterwards that it's a service. Pure cash machine from a gray man!

Everything was exactly as it should be.

Not bad.
Very friendly Hostel. Free parking around the property (ask at the reception to make sure you don't make mistakes because many are charged). Shared kitchen well equipped and clean. Beautiful view from our room. Unfortunately it has no lift and bed linen is charged 80DKK per person (about 10€). Overall fine!
