"Forell" Means Fresh, Meaty Trout and More in Pidula
At Pidula Forell's al fresco restaurant you can select - even catch - the trout that you want to eat ("forell" is Estonian for "trout"), walk it over to the outdoor kitchen, and watch the chef gut it and grill it. Each half of the trout from head to tail comes with a tasty paste slathered on top.
Three other adults and I devoured one fish; I loved the restaurant's garlic topping on one half and found the onion and mayonnaise topping on the other better than expected. Adjika was another topping option. We each ordered a side of salad and fried potatoes, perfectly complementing the trout, which, unbelievably, was as meaty as salmon steaks.
Don't worry about the weather; there's a large tent to keep dining guests dry. Pidula Wakepart, offering zipline water skiing, is a 30-second walk away, and there's a flock of alpacas close-by as well as the accommodations described here.

Great fish at the cafe
Wonderful, tasty dish was prepared from the fish that we caught! Super tasty! Other food also great! We visited shortly, but seems like a beautiful place for a stay as well - flowers, water, beautiful little houses! Worth a visit!

Activities continue for the whole family
We got into a family with a time when visitors were few. There is something else to eat besides fish, which was a surprise to us. There are plenty of activities for smaller family members to visit the mini zoo, paddle a boat, play disc golf on a large area. We ate red fish soup, which left something to be desired. The warm welcome from the staff that impressed us the most.

Good base for diving excursions to the seal park !
Pidula forell is a good base for diving trips from the nearby port of Veera. The standard is similar to youth hostels, no more, but the breakfast, tasty forell dinners and food as a whole, sauna by the lake and nearby activities compensate much.
We did a diving trip to see seals in the natural . There are a population of 400 seals esily seen and the younger sels are eager to come very close atto divers. The depth is only 2 metres and you snorkeling in a wetsuit is aslo possible.An excellent target for children and adolts too.

Best family vacation
Most beautiful place for a vacation with family, excellent food, service and sauna! You can catch a fish your self and a excellent Ukraine chef makes side dishes and it is so very goodit is a one family business who made here a excellent job! The flowers are amazing and little rabbits are so cutethe fishes are very very good!!
