Location A great place to have a rest after long walks around the city. Guest house «Te Mao Lodge» is located in Rangiroa. This guest house is located in 23 km from the city center.At the guest house If you travel by car, you can park in a parking zone. The tour assistance desk of the guest house will help you book an excursion. If you want to make your journey even more comfortable, you can order a transfer.

The room itself was fine and there is no complaints. We also had access to the water front across the street, but we didn’t stay at the waterfront house as I thought we booked.

Simple, basic place to stay on Rangiroa
The room is simple, clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable. There was a kettle and fridge. There is a garden also with two seating areas. Some of the rooms have a patio with seating. I didn't have one of these. You may need to request one.
The women working there doing the greeting, key delivery and house keeping were pleasant, essentially French speaking, we spoke in French. There are bicycles available with an extra charge. These are very useful for getting around the island.
Rangiroa is a very simple island. The way of life is at a much slower pace with a very laid back attitude. This is reflected in Te Mao.

- personne pour nous accueillir en arrivant. Nous avons fini par trouver la clef d'une chambre mais personne ne nous a répondu au tel ou aux mails
- on choisit une chambre vue jardin et au final c'était vue sir route, dans un bâtiment censé être en bord de mer. Le bâtiment est finalement à 200m de la mer, ce n'est pas ce que j'appelle le "bord de mer".
- la chambre est dans un état très limite : des moisissures au mur et au plafond, le placo qui se décolle, les joints de la douche noirs et qui se décollent en totalité...
- réveillé par un gros cafard au milieu de la nuit et ensuite une grosse souris dans la chambre
- l'eau n'est pas potable (elle coule jaune au robinet) mais on ne nous prévient pas. Sauf qu'en arrivant un dimanche, rien n'est ouvert aux alentours, impossible donc d'en acheter.
- on nous fournit de la vaisselle, ou plutôt de la dinette ! 2 couteaux qui ne tiennent pas, 2 fourchettes, 2 assiettes en plastiques, 2 tasses et 2 feuilles de sopalin (pour 3 nuits ça va être top !). Et surtout, ni éponge ni liquide vaisselle.
Une vraie catastrophe ce simulacre d’hotel

救いでした。到着日から翌日お昼まで断水でした。お部屋は快適でしたが・・・
