This family-run property is situated on a hillside, just 250 metres from Agia Paraskevi Beach. Boasting a Mediterranean restaurant, Magic Hotel features a pool area with children’s pool, hot tub and bar.

Amazing hotel in a great location
I came here with my 16 year old daughter, it was our first time in Skiathos. This hotel is just perfect - very friendly staff (including reception ladies, restaurant and pool bar staff, the cleaners, etc.).
Lovely rooms (cleaned daily) with Greek charm and beautiful views.
Please be prepared to walk up quite allot of steps (but it's worth it for the views).
Location is great, 5 minute walk to beautiful beach and plenty of restaurants close by. Most of the restaurants are by the main road so a bit of traffic noise but there a few off the main road, we really liked Kipos taverna and also enjoyed the Greek night at Vesuvio with fire and smashing plates (on every Sunday). The food was great everywhere we went. The bus stop (16) is a few steps from the hotel and so a well stocked mini-market.
We also walked to the Crazy Rooster (booking required) for a Greek night (every Monday), which is allot of fun, it includes dinner, performance, party and people jumping in the pool.
We went to Skiathos town several times, which is so picturesque, full of narrow atmospheric streets and alleys and amazing views.
We visited some of the beaches - a pair of sunbeds cost on average 30 euros and quite often require prior booking. Our favourite beach was probably Troulos (bus stop 20), sunbeds at Maya's Beach Bar. We also liked Kolios (15 minute walk from the hotel) - at the Beach House. Kokounaries beach wasn't really our vibe.
We will definitely be returning.

Wonderful holiday
What a wonderful stay we had at Magic hotel, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the lovely Monica and her fantastic staff members. The room was great with a lovely sea view, room 125 , breakfast was very good run by Julian who is a credit to the hotel. The hotel also has a great restaurant ( The View ) open to the public also, that has an excellent menu and quality dishes. There are a lot of steps at this property , so if your mobility is limited you would probably struggle.
Agia Paraskevi is a great place with plenty of really good Tavernas ( Jimmys ) and bars. There is a brilliant regular bus service that will get you anywhere you need to go €2,20 each, no need for car hire, local bus stop is number 16.
The beach at bus stop 10 was our favourite Achladies Beach , best beds at Mojo bar €20 , free wi-fi and a great beach bar . Water taxis are available all over the island and are very reasonably priced .
Skiathos Town is such a nice place full of bars and restaurants and plenty of shops.
As recommended by Monica we visited the Monastery on the island , very peaceful and well worth visiting.
As we like to holiday in different places we don’t usually return to where we’ve already been , Agia Paraskevi and especially the Magic Hotel will be an exception to this .

Wow what a magical hotel.
Wow just wow, we have just come back from a most magical holiday. The location of the hotel is perfect there’s bars and restaurants around the hotel. The hotel is spotless this is the first time we haven’t had to rush around in the morning for a sunbed, the hotel put the towels out for you at 9oclock. This is great value for the money and the breakfast was lovely with beautiful views. The rooms was cleaned everyday and staff worked so hard and was always there to help with places to visit. We didn’t want to leave!!! We also got a leaving gift which was a lovely end to our amazing time in skiathos.

Calm and peaceful, even in August!
We stayed for 7 nights in August and chose the hotel as it is in the area we like best in Skiathos: Agia Paraskevi. We had walked past it when staying at a nearby hotel last year and thought we'd give it a try. It did not disappoint!
We stayed in a duplex family room at the top of the complex which meant we could all stay in one room. As a growing family of 4, this is becoming harder every year, especially as we do not want our teenage kids on sofa beds for a week as is the case with a lot of hotels. Here, we all had comfortable beds and while the room was on the smaller side, the views from the balcony were amazing.
The breakfast was calm and the service was great- the iced coffees went down a treat. For us, one of the highlights was the calmness of the pool area. We went out most mornings to a beach and no matter what time we returned, there was always beds free at the pool. Pool towels were provided on the beds by the pool and fresh ones always available. Beach towels were also available from Reception at no extra cost.
On departure day, we were given a gift bag with some souvenirs in as a thank you for the stay. Such a nice touch.
A lovely, authentic hotel in a great location where the important thigs are carefully considered.

Five wonderful days in a very clean and polite staff the bed perfect as well as outdoor spaces clean and a wonderful view that makes you not want to leave
