Couldn't ask for more for the $$ paid.
A cute clean hotel. Small. AC was old and was not working properly but it cooled at night thankfully. Clean, spacious. The restaurant had great food. Pool was dirty but I'm sure it was due to the rains the night before we got there. I'd stay there again.

Worst experience I've ever had
The treatment of the staff is DIRE, Tomas watches you and treats you as if you were going to steal something, the receptionists are very bad
There is no Restaurant Service, the coffee is denied, it really is the worst experience I have had in Cuernavaca

Decent night's sleep - but that's about it.
We stayed here for 3 nights last summer when our son was in Spanish school in Cuernavaca.
It was nothing fancy or special, just a decent night's sleep with clean sheets. The room had a double bed and a chair in it, and that was it. Not a bottle of water or ice bucket or anything.
The swimming pool was small but nice and they did offer a small "continental breakfast" in the mornings. The staff was helpful as far as giving ideas of where to find restaurants or places
to see within walking distance of the hotel. It was quite a walk to find a restaurant, but plenty of taxis all around.

Shabby
Although it is convenient to the autopista, it is in a neighbourhood with not much in the way of restaurants and of questionable safety for exploring by foot. Our room was VERY basic. Although clean, the bed cover had a stain, which was off-putting, and there were no glasses and one bottle of water (although there were a lot of signs indicating you can't consume any beverage bought outside the hotel outside your room. Our beds were uncomfortable and you can hear pretty much everything going on in the street and lobby. The staff were clearly bored so although they weren't rude, they also did not radiate welcome. The breakfast buffet was good and the courtyard very pleasant. This hotel is getting shabby and is not very comfortable. Perhaps it was just our room.

four great nights
While I would not recommend this hotel for honeymooners, it is the perfect place if you just need an affordable place to relax by the pool. I stayed four nights and have nothing to complain about. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the Cueravaca area and need only somewhere to rest your head. Friendly staff, great location, great pool area, newly refurbished, modern and it saves you money.
