Would stay here again. Riad nouhal
We stayed at the riad nouhal for 4nigjt and 4day .it was situated at rue da la kashbah literally everything was like 10 to 20 min walk from the jama El fina to the bahia palace basically the heart of maarakesch it was a very busy area and there was plenty of shop around the riad the riad it self was and old tradition building situated up an alley way was quite difficult to find but once we knew how to get there it was all easy straight after it had multiple room available across 3 floors .the main ground floor and a swimming pool and the the top terrace was open and served breakfast .breakfast was just simple orange jui witha choice of hott drink loaf bread panchake and flat bread served with butter jam cheese cream marmalade honey overall for the price paid it was worth it .the only downfall was the room was very gloomy and the toilet seems like it was cramped getting in and out but water was available all time. It did lack the basic as in there was no kettle provide or water .so if you do visit any riad please remember to bring your own travel kettle and bottle of water as there water is not likeable to drink and taste weird.the staff were all friendly and accommodating and made u feel welcome .room cleaning was available every day so if you were out and came back u would of found that your room was tidied up .this is a basic riad so don't expect grand treatment and stay as you would do in a hotel.i would deffo stay here again as I dont expect luxury in life just a simple guy.

Fatal, lousy, horrible.
I absolutely do not advise going to this Riyadh. Leave a lot to be desired. The room you didn't touch couldn't be dirtier. The walls were full of stains and limescale, the pillow was unstitched, the ceiling was damp, and the bathroom taps were filled with lime, as if they had never been scrubbed. The shower was wet the first day we arrived, as if it had been used before we arrived. The seat of the two chairs that were there were full of stains.... We arrived around 9 a.m. and were told we couldn't get in until 1 p.m. My partner needed to go to the bathroom and was told to enter a room, what was our surprise when it was the same room we were given when we arrived at 7 pm, I didn’t like that, because if we used it before we were given a room, the same had already been used by someone else, or if they thought to give us that room, why didn’t they when we arrived?? The breakfast was neither fu nor fá, and always the same, and on top of that the last day we were missed and cold.
The experience with the accommodation was dire the truth, I got sick of crying when I saw where I had to stay to sleep.

Nice staff and nice room
We stayed there 2 nights with a friend and enjoyed our stay! The staff is very friendly and helpful, clean bedding. On the second night we are entitled to a second room much more spacious than the first, which was great!

Unsafe!
The Riad is in an obscure back alley. Lots of noise and noise in the evening/night (clearly audible in the room(s). Weed is smoked in front of the door. Hard to find, no nameplate and when you find the bell you have to ring at least 6 times before someone answers.
Upon entering immediately ordered to pay 50€ contact tourist tax.
Mohammed (manager/management?) is usually asleep, difficult to reach and hardly responds to messages. Doesn't keep promises.
Rooms small, moisture spots on ceilings and walls. Peeling stucco.
Bedding with stains.
Shower head cannot hang, the entire small bathroom (including toilet) are wet after a shower.
Tiled floor was dusty and there were fake nails on the floor (of our predecessors?!) when we were designated our room.
Not only the neighborhood but also Mohammed made us feel unsafe.

Bed bugs
To flee absolutely!!!
I do not understand that there can be positive reviews about this property ...
Three night stay in this so-called Riad:
First dirty room, no walk-in closet, unwashed floor, hair and tufts of hair on towels and bed cover.
The second night, we wake up covered in buttons and discover two bedbugs under the pillow! The manager changes us room at midnight: second room, still no walk-in closet, sheets holed, tufts of hair, we take out all the covers of the room so everything seems dirty...
The next day, he confirms that they found bedbugs in the first room, then promises a free excursion in compensation, scheduled two days after our departure from this Riad.
But on the day of departure, he changes his mind, claiming that the big boss finally refuses any gesture.
In short, two bedrooms, bedbugs, no hygiene, no speech... To flee!!!

Désolé de vous le dire mais vous avez amené cela avec vous et malgré cela on vous a dit qu'on pourrait vous offrir une excursion a ourika et non pas le ballon en ciel qui coûte 200€ que vous exiger, vous avez payé la chambre a 35€ et vous parlez de prestige.
