Great experience, quality, nice atmosphere, delicious food
The restaurant at the Bosco complex was recommended to us by our host in Borșa – a local who told us that although the prices are a bit higher, it’s well worth it because the chef cooks exceptionally. We decided to give it a try, and we weren't disappointed.
Although the mangalitsa pork neck was the recommended dish, we chose to explore the rest of the menu – I went for the ribs, while my partner had the mangalitsa pork cheeks. For dessert, we had a caramel cheesecake and a carrot cake (both were very good, though the carrot cake had a bit too much cream for my taste – the cheesecake was the winner, even if a bit on the sweet side). Everything was well cooked, flavorful, high-quality, with generous portions and nice plating.
We also really enjoyed the complex itself – a very welcoming atmosphere with charming little cottages, a well-kept inner courtyard, and an overall vibe of calm and relaxation.
I highly recommend Restaurant Bosco if you're in the area and looking for a special meal. While the prices are on the higher side, we genuinely felt it was worth it.

A refreshing, wonderful experience
A wonderful restaurant - European cuisine, with very nice staff. The building is made of humongous pine logs and nicely decorated for Christmas. Pizza was great, as was the Mangalitsa grill (pork wagyu!). Wish we could return to try more items!
