Don't worry

I had a 4 night stay to attend a conference. Although the room was small, it was clean and quiet. The service was very friendly and helpful and felt very personal. As a woman traveling alone, I felt safe. I loved the location, which was an easy walk to most attractions, as well as being close to metro and bus stops. Excellent food within a 5 minute walk in the La Latina area.

Misleading and irascible

Went on booking.com and filtered by airport shuttle. This place came up so I booked (non-cancellable). When I was asked about the shuttle, I was told that they didn't have one. The night before our trip, I was asked to confirm arrival time, and I mentioned the shuttle. I told the person that she should not advertise having a shuttle when they don't. She told me I was being unreasonable and cancelled our (supposedly non-cancellable) reservation, less than 24 hours before arrival. Never, never use this place.

Brilliant

Very central location, small but clean rooms with basic needs covered. They let us in a little before arrival time and when we left they kept our suitcases for a few hours so we could take advantage of the day.

Terrible stay

tiny room
Bathroom with no space to even sit on the toilet
Sink that does not drain
Shower water that is now cold and then scorching
There is no cleaning on Saturdays
Very old plasma television
Next to a nightclub where at 5-6 in the morning you can hear all the commotion
Too hot to sleep
Excessively expensive for such low quality
Clean room, that's the only thing I can say good

Very good stay, cozy and comfortable place. The staff very good treatment

Very cozy, centrally located, very economical, the treatment of the staff exquisite. 15 minutes from Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor... 100 meters from Puerta Toledo, in the spectacular La Latina neighborhood. The beds are very comfortable.
