We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Marbella! The location was perfect, right in the heart of the Old Town, with everything within walking distance and taxis easily accessible when needed. The beach was also just across the street, which made the location even better.
The hotel itself was very clean and well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of options. The gym was small but had everything we needed for a quick workout. The staff were also incredibly helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Marbella!

The hotel as well as the rooms were exceptionally clean. The rooms are all updated new furniture and fixtures. The beds are comfortable and the mattresses are also like new. The air conditioning worked seamlessly. The hotel is relatively quiet despite being on the main road. Easy walking access to the old town and the beach. Highly recommended.

At first we were overwhelmed by the amount of people and the traffic. Once we were directed to the parking location we felt better. Not impressed with the pool or the breakfast. We made the best of Marbella but not our favorite. We did find 2 good restaurants nearby and some shops to buy clothes and gifts. We took the ferry to Puerto Banus. That was fun but again overwhelmed with the amount of people!

Great location!
Just checked out of the Obal where we stayed for 3 nights. The hotel is clean and modern and the aircon is incredible. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and spacious but the balcony is pointless as the view is of a neighbouring building. The hotel breakfast is fresh and plenty of variety. The hotel location is amazing; so close to the beach and right in the middle of old town. The only downside to the hotel is the pool area. There are very few sun loungers and the pool is very small. We only managed to get a lounger on one of our days and our hope of relaxing and sunbathing was disturbed by children jumping in and out of the pool. Due to how small the pool area is, every jump resulted in us getting splashed. lol.
Overall a lovely stay in a perfectly located hotel.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share such a detailed review of your stay.
We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed our clean and modern hotel, spacious rooms, excellent air conditioning, fresh breakfast, and especially the friendliness and helpfulness of our team. We’re also pleased that you appreciated our fantastic location, so close to the beach and right in the heart of Marbella’s Old Town.
We’re sorry, however, that the rooftop pool area did not fully meet your expectations. We understand that the limited number of sun loungers can make it difficult to find a spot during busy periods. Our rooftop pool is designed as a more intimate space for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and views, although we fully appreciate your comments regarding the size of the pool and the availability of loungers.
Thank you as well for your feedback regarding the balcony and the neighbouring building. We understand that the view can vary depending on the room, and we appreciate you sharing your perspective.
Despite these points, we’re very pleased to know that you had an overall lovely stay and appreciated our privileged location. We hope to have the pleasure of welcoming you back to Obal Hotel on your next visit to Marbella.
Kind regards,
