Set right by Pite Havsbad Beach, this is one of northern Europe’s largest tourist resorts. It offers a water park, activity house and spa facilities. Piteå town centre is a 15-minute drive away.

There's nothing missing!
Fabulous hotel! Everything is there there is nothing missing! Snowmobiling at the hotel gates, dogs sledging in a kennel in the village next door, introduction to polar life in the forest a 10 mnts walk away, and once the activities are over you can go to the acquaparc , or bowling! Optional alpine skiing. In a small resort 20 minutes by van transfer for half a day where we were a dozen on the slopes!

Just a pit stop.
So this was just a pit stop going to Rovaniemi/Finland.
We just stayed here for one day.
The reason I give a 3 star is because we did not have time to explore and for me quite basic.
We just had a basic room with a king size bed and an extra.
BUT I think this is an awesome place for family’s with younger children.
I was here with my husband and my 21 year old son.
And at a time where almost everything had closet for the season.
But they have a lot to do for youngsters and a waterpark as well.
It was closed at this point for maintenance so I did not have the chance to check it out.
The staff was splendid and the lounge area were really nice and cozy.
It doesn’t look much from the outside but it’s a big difference inside where they have done it really well.
So I think it’s worth in when it’s season for it

Never again.
This was a place I went to in my childhood to remember for many years. But unfortunately, it hasn’t updated so much since then. We were here last year, but then we had a caravan and was a lot on the beach. This year we took a cabin that was totally cruel. Dirty, skewed and unupdated since Pite beach bath opened seemed it like. After many years at Pite Havsbad this will probably be the last.

Disappointed Summer 2026
We have been at Pite for several years in a row, but this year we were very disappointed. At first, they had many offers for children: tivoli, jumping castle, trampoline park, railway for the smallest, and last year they had set up playrooms for the little older children. Over the years, the offers have disappeared little by little, and this year none of these offers were available. The outdoor bath is tired, but OK. The bath is also well used and is quite dirty. The cabins have a simple standard. There’s no point buying activity tapes for the whole family if you’re going to be there for a week or two. Then it is cheaper and rather buy entrance tickets. If it's a family of four, it's enough to have one, up to two activity bands for it to pay off. We went out and bought four activity tapes, money we'll never get back. You still have to pay for wooden bikes, spa and so on. It is equally nice to visit nearby campsites where the outdoor area is better.

Not worth it.
We spent two nights. Service in reception was average at best. Not very welcoming and no smiles to see. Breakfast was as expected since it’s a big family resort. Chaotic and noisy, but the food was ok. Room was decent size, but lacked minifridge. Also the bathroom was very old compared to the room itself. We ate at «Burgers» in the lobby area. This was good, but stay away from the «Taverna» (pizza place) near the hotel. Not good at all. Location on hotel cant be beat and there is a lot to do for familys with kids, but most things comes with a pretty high cost. We tried the inside waterpark since the weather was bad. And this place was too crowded, had to stand in line to wash before bathing and had to buy a lock for the lockerroom. Far too expensive compared to what you get. All in all I would say that this hotel has great potensial and it seems like it has a lot of regular customers, but I did not get any holiday feeling. Place felt more like a factory with the intent of squeezing as much money as possible out of its customers. Not coming back.
